I walked onto the Bentley College golf team in the spring of 1987. In an effort to improve my skills, I took a job that summer at Wang Country Club in Groton, MA. Charlie Elwood, PGA took me under his wing and opened my eyes to the golf business.
For over 30 years, I have done almost everything there is to do in the golf business. I have mowed greens, aerated greens, bartended, sold memberships and given countless lessons.
When teaching, I try and focus on the fundamentals and assist the student in getting proper positioning at impact. I have a “ground-up’ focus, in that golfers need to initiate their forward swing with their lower body. Using the Hudl video application helps to enhance the learning experience.
